I was opposed to the idea of starting such a long crime series when I’m supposed to be getting back into/finishing the Temperance Brennan series… but The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by this author was so good I felt the need to give it a shot- plus I’m trying to fully take advantage of Kindle Unlimited while I have it. 

I’m so glad that I took a chance on this series. The first book was really good. I look forward to seeing if the sequel can maintain the same level of quality.
