I liked this book. But it did disappoint me in the way of not being a 5-star. An aspect that in my opinion needed more development, was the main characters. I didn't feel so much for them. Celia and Marco were flat characters. Although I enjoyed the book and had fun while reading it, I don't think it's a story that had any major affection on me. But I believe that not all books have to be life-altering, or one's favorite books. And it was nice reading something lighter between the heavy reads. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a light mystical fantasy. Or anyone with a particular interest in circuses. Also once I picked up the book it was impossible to put it down, hence the short reading time. Even if the characters and romance felt flat - the atmosphere was magical to live in. PS. A fun word was "Exsanguinate".
