Small spoilers: I promise I tried to go at this with an open mind, but when you get to a scene where a 15 year old girl is turned on by getting manure rubbed all over her... I'm gonna start yucking yums.
This book glorifies abuse and humanizes abusers, all while reading like a never ending stream of consciousness from the author. I get that some people "just turn off their brains and enjoy the book" but that ain't me. Only reason I didn't dnf is because I was sure the writing or storyline would get better at some point. Spoiler alert: it doesn't.
