Thank you Mr. Trebek. I listened to the audiobook instead of reading because I thought it might be easier to get through it. Most of it was read by Ken Jennings who turned out to be better than I thought. Mr. Trebek read different parts throughout and I thought it was especially fitting that he read the final chapters. I love how he was able to give us a glimpse into his life without dragging it out. I learned a few tidbits and he also mentioned some of his favorite contestants. How cool to have been mentioned in his book. The audiobook was just a little over 5 hours and it was perfect. My tears started with about 3 chapters remaining and by the last chapter I couldn’t see because I was crying so hard. I realized now that hearing Mr. Trebek’s voice DIDN’T make it easier. *sigh* But, as he said in one of his earlier chapters about why Jeopardy was so beloved, he was still a comforting presence. Whew!
