I mean… I saw the tropes and blurbs for this book and immediately went begging for an ARC. Just wait until you meet Jaime Wilde.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I’m becoming a pretty big fan of Morgan Elizabeth’s writing.

Something about her FMCS - which defies logic because these are usually things I don’t love - really gets me going. In this case, Ava was incredibly sure of herself, confident, and unapologetic. She peruses Jaime from the start. And as unlikely as it is, I was into it from the start.

Neither character had super deep trauma or personal issues, and sometimes thats super refreshing. 

More of the same here as I loved in the Seasons of Revenge series - some nostalgia (I got solid Miss Congeniality vibes), excellent tension… a slow burn that leads into impressive spice. Great scene setting, and an excellent side plot outside of romance.
