Aldeon & Kora: Sweet Love in a Vampire Apocalypse- 5 Stars
This is my first time reading this author and I must say that I’m VERY impressed!
Kora is a human survivor of a vampire apocalypse that claimed the life of her mother and recently, her sister. Alone in the world, she hides out, leaving only to scavenger supplies to live in a cave away from fevered, insane-from-hunger dhampirs. One of the dhampirs who does not suffer from bloodlust, Aldeon stumbles upon Kora and recognizes her as his fated mate as he experienced “the Calling”. Kora must decide if she is going to trust Aldeon and his protective nature or hold him responsible for his kind’s savagery.
Both of these characters were well written and the story arc is set up perfectly to spin off into individual novels. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and hopefully see more of this couple!
