Bull by Penny Dee

5.0

Be prepared to be blown away...this is hands down one of THE best books I've read all year! This is the story of Bull, the President of the Kings of Mayhem MC, and Taylor, a young woman trying to raise her little brother with no money and crap luck. While this is Book 6 of the KMMC series, it can be read as a standalone. The whole cast of characters from the club are sprinkled throughout the story, but the author tells the tale well enough that you don't necessarily need to have read the previous books (though it is highly suggested because they're awesome!). Right from the start, you're given a glimpse into Bull's tragic history and you just know he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. Also right from the start, you know that Taylor's running, and running hard, from something or someone who terrifies her. These two continue to cross each other's paths, hijinks ensue, and...well...telling you the rest would spoil it! Just know there's suspense, there's romance, there's drama...there's everything you want in a great MC book! Being a fan of the series, I was super excited for this book because Bull is such a poignant character throughout every story and I just knew his was going to be epic. Penny Dee is a fantastic writer, but what she did with this story is beyond anything I could have imagined. My chest ACHED! My eyes HURT! In plain and simple terms...THIS STORY IS BEAUTIFUL.
