I could read this book 1,000 times.

This is a story about Sage Singer who works the night shift at a local bakery. One day she meets a man who asks her the impossible: to help him die. As it turns out the man, Josef, used to be an SS officer, and Sage has Jewish relatives.

This is a story about forgiveness. But its not just one story, there are several stories, woven together beaufitully. Its kind of heavy, so keep that in mind if youre going to read it. It makes me cry every time, but its definitely one of my favorites.
