The Note by Angela Hunt
3.0
A plane crashes, but moments before the plane crashes a man scribbles a note on a napkin, seals it in a ziploc bag and stuffs it into the seat pocket. Weeks later the note washes up on shore and is delivered to a newspaper columnist who is in danger of losing her job. The note saves her job as she looks for the person to whom it was addressed. In the searching, she faces things about her self that she had stuffed down and her relationship with her father is restored. The book seemed a little fanciful and unrealistic. There were sub-stories introduced and I felt not followed through on. But it was a good light read, which is what we're sometimes looking for!
