“It's time for new gods.”
I have no words because I'm still processing what the fuck did just happened
okay this did, in fact, surpassed the first book, I mean the new characters ?? those turns and plots ??? I had to take a second here and there to just take it all in.
I fucking love science so much.
oh and the plants' thoughts ?? god tier, probably on my favorite things ever in this trilogy.
the only thing I kind of disliked ?? was that somehow, some relationships felt rushed and that it was developed off pages, I'm gonna try and explain it: take nico and gideon. it's easier for me to believe how they care for each other, how they developed a dynamic, because it is established that they knew before, and so when you read about them it's more believable all of their feelings and thoughts about each other. with the rest of the characters, it kind of happens the same. with the first book, there's like jumps of time (that's also something that confused me because from one paragraph to another there's one year jump and ???), but in this second book, it's more clear and established what they think of each other and it's more believable.
but with those two characters, one that is introduced in this book.. I just couldn't connect with them. I didn't feel anything because you don't show me anything you just tell me and that is not enough. that may be my only strong? criticism.
OH AND THE EPILOGUE??? I did good reading this says before the third book drops because my god I need answers I NEED MORE.
