Watched the tv show first and now reading the books. Noticed some significant differences. Jenny has dark curly hair, Dan seems to be more nerdy and Rufus more out there hippy artist guy instead of cool rocker. Blair has a younger brother, and Serena's brother Eric is older not younger plus no mention of sexual orientation. Lastly, Vanessa isnt a family friend and Nate is a massive stoner!

The writing got annoying dropping in brand names to describe everything. I did get swept into the romance angle though so that was nice.
