Loosely based on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, I devoured this dark, epic romantasy in record time
I was ecstatic to received an ARC, thank you so much Cass, and you well and truly hit it out of the park. I will do my best to write a *spoiler-free* review.
The journey that Aurelia went on, her healing and her trauma was just so beautifully written. I could relate to so much of her past and I was delighted with her future.
The three men are everything. Grumpy sunshine perfection. I fell in love with all of them from the first page, and it quickly developed into an obsession.
The world is wonderfully written, I enjoyed the magic system and how we weren’t thrown straight into the thick of it, but discovered it alongside Aurelia. I also love how it’s a standalone. There was easily many places it could have been split into a duology or even a series, but yes PLEASE to a finished, complete book with no cliffhangers.
I know that this will not be the last book I will read by Cass, if she decides to release another I will be first in line!
