Pretty standard/formulaic story without any attempt to hide or embellish the formula. I feel like I’ve read this book a dozen times by different authors in the past few years. Same character types, same story arc, same obstacles, same resolution. I’m also getting icked out by AA’s reliance on military/police characters. Overall it was okay. But very much been there done that.
