One of my favourites by K. J. Charles. The chemistry between the two main characters is great and I loved both of them dearly. I think, like most, one just has to love Daniel da Silva, and so I do. Archie Curtis is a good POV character too, his way of processing his own sexuality sure made it an interesting read. I think what I love the most, though, are the little things by which one can tell that the author did her research on the era - in this particular case, name-dropping of Krafft-Ebing was a small delight, for example.
