11/22/63 by Stephen King

It's been a few years since I've read a Stephen King book and this exceptional book made me so glad to finally return. He is a fantastic storyteller and I loved everything about 11/22/63. Since I graduated from HS in 1965, the time travel aspect was particularly enjoyable as it brought back so many memories of the fads and the pace of our lives back then. I read somewhere that Mr. King had thought about writing this back in the early 70's but held off because of research and the numerous conspiracy theories. Those of us acutely familiar with that time (the 60's) have carried a lot of stuff around for all these years and for me, reading this book, I have been able to gently lay down those feelings. Kudos, Stephen!
