Posey, Posey, Posey… I don’t know if you’re like me, but I’ve been waiting for Posey’s book since the start of the series. Something about this loveable golden retriever had my heart, and I’m so glad he got his moment.

📕 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: So Thjs is War by Meghan Quinn

📙 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: The Vancouver Agitators character series. Book 5 of 5.

📗 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: E-book ARC on Kindle. 🆓 on KU.

📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Sports romance, Romantic Comedy

📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Hockey, enemies-to-lovers, ONS, forbidden, toys as teammates, golden retriever MMC, age gap, no third-act break up.

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Wylie wants to drop out of college. But her Dad, head coach of the Vancouver Agitators, is determined to teach her a lesson. He forces Posey to take her on as an assistant, assigning her horrible tasks until she gives up and goes to business school. But what Coach doesn’t know is that Posey has been pining for his daughter for the better part of a year.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I have to say, I honestly haven’t laughed this hard in forever. There were a few moments in this book where I legitimately cackled. And then came Meghan Quinn’s patented romance formula - and I was toast.

Posey is such a fun guy. His inner monologue is absolutely hysterical - and I think Wylie was the only woman who could understand him or fall in love with him. I loved that instead of enlisting his fellow players, he went for their wives and started a group text. This series has always been incredible with the supporting side characters.

I’m taking a half point off for one main reason… Meghan Quinn wrote Wylie’s father almost too well. I HATED HIM. I honestly was mad either main character gave him the time of day the way he was acting. And I didn’t feel like his apology at the end was enough. It made me huff a little.

But every thing else was absolute perfection. I’m sad to see this series end - but if I am catching what MQ is putting down, this won’t be our last hockey story from her.
