Okay, so I think it lived up to the hype, I love Feyre, and her feisty self, it was easy to get behind to understand the reasons behind her actions, (although some stupid) I understood her angst and anger, I also understood Nesta, who’s more like me than I care to admit. I understood why she was a thick shell and that her love ran deep. Now, what I don’t understand is the lengths Feyre went through for this man (Tamlin), I mean throughout the entire fiasco Under the Mountain, he was practically the mountain himself, immovable and emotionless, he could have given the audience something to work with. I loved Lucien and Feyre’s banter it felt like best friends squabbling and I really warmed up to Rhysand, suspicious, mysterious Rhysand, always scheming, always planning. And I loved the world building, the monster and the history, it really gave context to a lot of this and fleshed out what would have been complicated to follow without it
