Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira
3.0
I wanted to like this book more, I really did. But there were just some things I had a problem with. My biggest problem was with the romance. While it made me feel tingly at some points, it came on too fast. And as you read the book, you understand why they were able to slip into it so easily but it still felt unrealistic. Something just didn't do it for me. But I really like the messages that were shared in these pages. I loved Laurel and shared her same child-like view of her sister. I always thought my sisters were magical. But sometimes, her immaturity and naivety was annoying and I didn't want to hear about magic potions and fairies. But I guess that's the thing about depressed characters, you don't always like what they have to say. They get annoying because they just cant seem to feel anything. I think it is an important thing to understand when reading this book.
