Wrath's Daughter by A.E. Cosby

5.0

Euhaven braces for a storm! Aeshma, the Angel of Wrath, has returned, threatening to reshape the city according to her twisted vision. Only the Chaos Wielder's team stands in her way.  This epic dark urban fantasy throws the heroes into a desperate fight, forcing them to split up and seek new allies to decipher the remaining pieces of a crucial prophecy.

The author masterfully builds the world and breathes life into a diverse cast of characters.  A unique touch is the inclusion of music that perfectly complements specific scenes and characters, adding depth and emotional resonance.

While the story can be dark, the author provides clear trigger warnings, allowing readers to make informed choices.  It's refreshing to see characters grapple with the aftermath of trauma, showcasing strength and resilience.

But the battle isn't just external! As the world spirals into chaos, the team faces a personal struggle. When stakes are this dire, desire, sex, and romance become powerful distractions. Can they maintain their focus and overcome temptation while facing a foe unlike any other?

This series is definitely one of my favorites! It's a captivating blend of world-building, character development, and a touch of musical magic, all wrapped in a thrilling fight against an apocalyptic threat.
