i did end up rly enjoying this book! the beginning i was not sold on and at times (very often times) i felt like it was trying too hard to be funny/quirky. but i ended up rly loving nolan and mallory’s relationship which made up for a lot. also for someone who doesn’t know how to play chess (like at all) i ATE up all the games and tournaments. it was so interesting to read for some reason.
