Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
5.0
I was hesitant to read this due to very ambivalent feelings about Shondaland. I will never forgive the whole Izzy having imaginary sex with Denny’s ghost thing, or the fact that Olivia is STILL maybe with Fitz. 🙄 Anyway, I’m SO glad I went for it. Shonda is confident, while remaining supremely self aware. She provides realistic wisdom, without preaching. Her narration is light, naturally, and funny. This book succeeds as a memoir, mentorship, feminist manifesto, and so much more - I really loved this listen.
