The first in the Steel Berserkers MC series, Pieces of me explores the very real long term effects of physical and mental abuse. Readers with triggers for DV, SA, mental health and violence should consider these before reading.
I really enjoyed how the main male character, Hoyt, tried to understand the issues that Selene (MFC) and her sister face. He has to change his approach to many things, which we don’t often see in a alpha male character.
There is a good level of spice going on in this book. Along with some really complex support characters, it’s a perfect start to a series.
