Wow. Just wow!

I’m not sure what I can say without spoiling this story. Not much LOL. Kayla Edwards has written such a complex urban fantasy, spanning 3 books now, which just keep getting better and better! I definitely think this is the best book Kayla has written. The storytelling was immaculate, with the changing on POVs and story arcs. Her characters are fleshed out and show so much growth. 

I loved the expanding cast of characters, particularly with the inclusion of Roman and Shay. Their friendship and love story was so wonderful (and angsty) to read. Darien will forever be my favourite character in this series - his loyalty, his determination, the way he loves. He’s imperfectly perfect. He has lots of internal demons that he continues to battle, but he is selfless in the way that he protects those that he loves. Ever since COGAM and what he does for Loren and Singer, he’s been my #1. And he keeps getting better and better.

I could go on and on about this series, but I will stop here and say that you need to read this series. It’s not complete yet, but it’s so brilliant that it doesn’t even matter. This is by far my favourite urban fantasy series! Cannot wait for that next book!
