This is a Persephone and Hades retelling. Persephone runs to Hades when her mother is trying to force her to wed Zeus. Hades saves her and vows to protect her at any price and they fall in love. Her mother wants her back and Zeus is angry and vows to get even with Hades. It turns out Hades is seriously kinky and Persephone is down with it. All of this causes trouble and brings back Hades past problems with Zeus. 

I went into this book blind. All I knew was it was about Persephone and Hades and I was curious. The spice was a bit of a shock but not too bad. This was fun and enjoyable and I'm glad I read it.
