Where Darkness Dwells by Andrea Renae
4.0
I purchased and started reading this book kind of on a whim, and I don't regret it!
The writing was absolutely lovely. The world of the Vale was so immersive, too. The concept of light vs darkness is always a favorite of mine, and the author utilized it well.
I enjoyed the way the story was more focused on the characters than on the plot. I don't feel like I come across that very often in the fantasy genre. But I have to admit, sometimes it moved too slowly for my taste. I kept getting antsy, waiting for things to really happen.
The main characters were all likeable, though, and I'm interested in seeing their story continue with the next book!
