This books continues to follow the "new" structure of the series where Anne continues to grow up and becomes a vessel for the reader to get to know this small town. Anne gets married, she enters a new chapter and new friendships. Some of the plots get a little convoluted but in the end, loves always wins. This universe continues to be wholesome and Anne continues to be kind. I loved her being part of a new community
