I was about to dnf it at the beginning because it wasn't teaching me anything but I'm glad I persevered. I really liked how varied perspectives this book offered. For example I had no idea that many Muslim marriages go unregistered to strip women of their legal rights after divorce and that the marriage law is so behind the times. It also offered an interesting perspective on being queer and Muslim and on sex ed in Muslim spaces.
