2034: A Novel of the Next World War by James Stavridis, Elliot Ackerman
5.0
Absolutely gripping, start to finish
This novel, was phenomenal. I know this one got some not so great reviews, but, being a fan of this type of thing, liking novelsby Tom Clancy, and techno military thrillers like this, hooked me in. as this story unfolds, you see the comllexities and moving parts work and interact together to make an ending that will stick with you for a while. I couldn't put this book down. I'm currently listening to the interview at the end of the audio version while I write this, and Admiral Stevridis is intelligent and gripping even in conversation because he seems to have a handle on all things now, and has insight on exactly how cyber terorists, and warring factions and countries could potentiall use technology to wage a cyberwar as it were. I'm blown away. The character development here is great, and you feel the emotion and pain that went into everything they all go through. If you like Tom Clancy, vince Flyn, MitchRapp, or other military novels with a gripping plot, you're going to love this one.Enjoy, and happy reading. I apologize for typos, my phone isn't doing well with long texts and such, but, here it is. Enjoy!!
