The stories are good on their own. If author didn't connect them i would rate it higher but since Ogawa did that, i expected something to happen that would be very shocking and connect all the stories together even more. That didn't happen so what I got were brilliant, bizzare stories connected together without any reason. Yoko just thought it would be kind of cool.
