Another delightful adventure in Clark's literally magical steampunk rendering of Cairo complete with lovable characters and wry humour. You can never go wrong with the pairing of a jaded seasoned investigator and the starry-eyed new recruit. I am yet again fascinated by the care for details and the amount of research that must have went into creating a world where so many cultures seamlessly meet in the middle. I would definitely love to see more of the Dead Djinn Universe.
