*4.5 stars but i could not round up

yeah that was pretty damn good. i don't think i'll be able to actually map out how this book had me feeling, but it made me feel seen. seen and heard, which is beautiful. an ownvoices book about a nonbinary teen navigating the world, while having anxiety and depression, while getting used to a new environment; i can't begin to describe how warm that made me feel.

any damn ways, the world needs more books with nonbinary characters. because we're here and should have our stories out there, for comfort to others like us as well as letting others glimpse at what it means to be nonbinary. loved this, so so much.
