The synopsis gave a clear indication of some of the things Jake encountered. Yet, I was still intrigued by every interaction he encountered in this storyline.
I truly appreciate the queer representation, especially Jake being Black. Not to many stories get it right.
And the Ancestors showing up? YES! 👏🏾
Also, I appreciate the positive friendships that occur as well as Jake finding himself and embracing all that he is!
His sexuality, his spirituality and his voice!
