Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown

I thought I’d love it, but most of the elements I enjoyed about the movie were missing.

Elle spends the whole book pining after Warner, then decided at the last minute that he’s not worth her time. Where is the growth and character arc?
We don’t see the smart side to Elle. She’s not a sympathetic character at all. I enjoy her confidence and style, and that’s about all. The Elle in the film is layered, vulnerable yet strong, adorably ditzy yet extremely smart. Book Elle is spoiled and pampered, and frankly a little selfish. Somehow she sails through the LSATs but skips most of her classes when she gets there.

Emmet and Paulette are highlights of the film, but they do not feature in the book. The dog is cute though.
