For a mafia book this felt mild. Pretty much forgot it was multiple times. I think the length of the book could’ve been longer to build the tension on who could’ve possibly

rigged Romans car and caused the accident

who did it was obvious very early on and made the drama and action lack. Romance wise it wasn’t anything to scream home about nor was it a memorable romance.

Also would’ve been great to explore other characters more before their books and see more interactions between them, I don’t feel excited to continue the series (I will but its not an urgent need)
