This was one of those books I skipped over at the time it became ‘the thing to read’ because the hype was just too much and I found the reviews to be from one extreme to the other - people either hated it or loved it. One review saying ‘stunning masterpiece of literature!’ and the next one saying ‘rubbish and boring - about a girl walking through mud’
