This is a good book about high school friendships and relationships, feeling awkward, and all that growing up stuff. The main character is a social-anxiety-ridden "brain" whose best friendship is threatened (she thinks) by a guy coming into the picture. To complicate matters, her dad starts dating her friend's mom. The book has really good momentum, I read it in one night. The Danny character was little predictable. Takes place in or near Miami, FL, modern-day.
