I just found everyone in this book unlikeable except maybe Gabriela and Jose. But the main couple annoyed me to no end. They seemed like they just hated each other and had no respect for each other, as well as just NO COMMUNICATION which is my #1 least favourite thing in books (and life tbh). The book also felt kind of misogynistic to me, although to some extent it was like that to show how “different” Duke was…but like for the most part he also had some of that in him? And was still friends with awful people?
