This book was so disappointing. 300 pages of telling and not showing. We're told every two pages how much the sisters are obsessed with Grey. No build up to any of the 'character development' that took place, and definitely no build up to the romance. I liked the creepy aesthetics, but that's about it. Also, if Iris had a personality, I couldn't see it.

I think this is a major reason why I don't like YA anymore, why are you trying this hard to be unnecessarily dramatic?
