Conversations with Kennedy by Benjamin C. Bradlee

3.0

Pretty slight but entertaining book; about half of it is Kennedy musing about political stuff with Bradlee, while the other half is him being a catty gossip. Very funny to see the latter side, especially as such a contrast to the mythic image of him that emerged after his death. Go into it expecting a contemporary account by a close friend, not anything resembling a bio or even history book.
