Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman
2.0
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Gaiman himself. This must be my least favorite book of his.
**spoilers ahead**
Odd is a young boy who has a crippled right leg. His village has been in unending winter for some reason. He is called Odd because he has a weird personality, he was always smiling even during his father's funeral.
One day, Odd leaves his home to go on a sudden adventure, and in the forest he spends the night with three talking animals which turn out to be gods. The gods were turned into these forms and stripped of their power by a Frost Giant.
Eventually, Odd settles the dispute by having a conversation with the Frost Giant, who realized how lonely he was away from his Giant country and decided to go back.
I think Odd becomes a god too.
Yea it was just boring
