Saga, Volume 9 by Brian K. Vaughan

5.0

Such great storytelling and world-building. I really love this series and its characters. You, as the reader, go through an entire volume where you grow attached to a certain character and their journey then the next installment happens and you are reminded that they are or have become the antagonist of these other characters you have grown to love and now everything is a sad shit show full of conflicting emotions (sorry for the terrible run-on sentence).

I've been trying to hold off on reading the last two volumes of this series because Vaughan and Staples, the writer and artist respectively, have taken a hiatus from this series. It's already been a year and a month. Guys, I need more. Especially after that cliff hanger, ahhh.
