I liked a lot of the romance, but I found some of the arguments, and "I'm not good enough for them" pretty grating at times. And I don't like the mating thing, don't see what it adds to the story. I thought Nesta improving, and her friends was really nice to see. A lot of the action scenes were pretty good, and badass. I felt like the pregnancy plot line could have been better, the fact that there was no solution, not even one that could harm the babe but save Freya, felt unrealistic. And the fact that Rhys hides it from her seems out of character.
