A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
5.0
This grumpy old man has stolen my heart.
Ove is such a beautifully written book with a cast of characters that just felt so wholesome and full. And I loved that Ove’s backstory is intertwined as flashbacks with the present day.
Ove is a character that will stay with me for a long time. He may very well be the most grumpiest miserable man I’ve ever read about but he had such a big heart underneath it all, and it made him who he is.
Backman has a writing style that you can easily connect with, and he writes such beautiful unforgettable characters.
I cannot recommend this book enough. It will have you laughing, crying and feeling all the emotions, and you will walk away loving this grumpy old man just as much as I did.
