Sweet romance in a small town. I have read a few of her Pine Valley books. It took me a while to get into this book because it seemed like I had read it already. It wasnt the case but it seemed familiar, I guess hots for the construction worker is a troupe I wasnt aware I had delved into before.

There were a few mistakes, especially at the beginning, which made it harder to keep reading. Everyone knows you simmer AFTER a boil but apparently the key to amazing hot chocolate, *ahem* cocoa, Maurie calls it cocoa, is to simmer it then it comes to a boil. Despite those minor flaws, the story picked up. I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review.
