“You wrote the things you loved about me in good times and bad, when we were at our highest and lowest. I was wrong when I said before that we’re only good at loving each other when it’s easy. I think we’re good at loving each other out loud when it is, but we’ve silently loved each other through all of the hard stuff.”

I really loved reading You, with a View by the author and I had developed some huge expectations from this book. I liked the beginning and I could feel myself relating with Georgia. I was totally on her side throughout the book and I just felt like Eli should've groveled to get her back. I could understand that they still loved each other and felt an undeniable connected that gravitated them towards each other but the way Eli basically neglected Georgia because of his job in the past, he should've made up for it and Georgia shouldn't have given in so easily. I liked the situations where these two had to work together this get things done and they definitely made a good team. But I disliked how Adam threw all of the responsibility on them and him whining about every minor discomfort got real annoying. This is the reason I did not like their friends. Even Jamie was kind of unlikeable. Overall, I liked the angst between Georgia & Eli and I could feel their chemistry but something felt missing. The last few chapters were good though, especially the part where Georgia opened the paper rings that Eli kept giving her. And the epilogue was wholesome too. But some parts could've been executed better. This book had so much potential but it lacked the usual vibe that the author's previous book had tbh.
