The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon
4.0
This was exactly the kind of fluffed up, makes me swoon, but also makes me roll my eyes, book that I was needing. It wasn’t like mind blowing in terms of hate-to-love romances, or fake dating hate-to-love, but it was everything I enjoyed in these kinds of novels!
While the self-destroying relationship tendencies that Shay had killed me and the lack of communication made me want to throw my head against the wall, the premise, characters, and how much care was put into these characters brought me so much joy. It was such a fun read and definitely recommend it if you want something light and easy.
I will say, the transcripts of episodes via audio are kind of annoying, but that’s definitely on me for picking this format lol.
