Touch of Winter by L.K. Shear
this was interesting read with some issues. i think mfc was meh. like things kinda happened to her and she just goes with it. even when she attempts to fight it off we are always in the guys pov. that doesn’t let me know her actual thoughts in the situation leaving me wonder if that’s what she’s doing or are the guys making things in their head.
mmcs are all sex and control obsessed. two more than other two. it’s just kinda icky.
this mate based romance and leans on that and lust. i would have preferred more romantic moments than the guys just objectifying her.
the fantasy elements are super confusing. lineages and bonds and it’s making no sense to me. thankfully what i do understand is enough for me to enjoy the story. if this was a non rh fantasy book i would’ve been more harsher about this point. my rh standards are quite low at this point.
all in all it was an okay read and i’m hoping we get to know these characters more.
