Yes, yes, I know -- why do you keep reading her if you critique trope overuse? Because she does them so well, and if I space her books out with others I really can't tell, and it's not a crime to specialize in rivals-to-lovers, I guess.
Call it character growth on my part.
Suffice to say, I devoured this one too like all her others though this was by far the one my brain went the fuzziest on when it came to the STEM elements since I somehow managed to not take Physics in high school and this was.... well beyond that level. But I don't mind not being the wholly centered niche audience, and still enjoyed it though I think I might have gotten more of the jokes with that background.
