Another adventure for Violet and Xaden
This book was a lot longer than it needed to be, but still entertaining nonetheless. I felt like for a lot of the book we were going around in circles but the book also felt fast paced, so it was a weird feeling.
I loved the development of Violet and learning more about the dragons. The emotional whiplash was real throughout this book, but also worth it? I will say that I felt some of the "conflict" with Violet was a bit immature, but I also understood where she was coming from. She had been through a lot, and the new characters that were introduced added a whole new dynamic to the book. The drama was giving, and I honestly wanted a bit more out of it.
The ending... ugh the ending! Definitely looking forward to the next book, because I am so curious as to where that ending will lead to. So many different ways it can go.
