I was disappointed. I felt as though it was a book of cliches, a generic overview of love and heartbreak. The rhyming couplets felt like there were there just so that it could rhyme. It didn’t feel unique or memorable. Overall persisted until the end to say that I finished it but it was painful to finish as a lot of the poems felt repeated.
